Ms. Gibson initiated her dance training at the Duluth Civic Ballet, which is now known as the Minnesota Ballet Academy, when she was only 7 years old. She remained a part of the school until she joined the Company. While being a member of the Company, she began teaching and continued to do so at JAS Dance in the Twin Cities as well as at L'Academie de Ballet du Saguenay in Quebec. Eventually, she returned to Duluth and took on the role of Ballet Master for the Company. Over time, she progressed to become the Artistic Director and also had the chance to create numerous original choreographies. Throughout her journey, she has had the privilege of learning from and collaborating with all the Artistic Directors who have led the Ballet since its establishment in 1965
