Courtney LaPlante - Founder/Owner/Instructor/Choreographer

Courtney LaPlante's dance journey is truly impressive. With over 28 years of dance experience, she has honed her skills in various dance styles, including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, pointe, and tap. Her dedication to dance education is evident through her 15 years of experience as a primary dance instructor, coaching both recreational and competitive dancers, as well as local dance teams.

Courtney's love for dance began at a young age, starting her training at just two years old in Duluth, Minnesota. Since then, she has achieved numerous high rankings, overalls, and special awards in competitions. Her talent has even taken her to notable events such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York and performances at Universal Studios in Florida. Courtney has also had the privilege of learning from renowned choreographers like Travis Wall, Wade Robson, Brian Friedman, and Tyce DiOrio through workshops and conferences across the United States. She even had the opportunity to showcase her skills on the TV show "So You Think You Can Dance" during auditions in Salt Lake City and Memphis.

What sets Courtney apart is not only her experience as a dancer but also her expertise as an instructor and coach. She has taught at multiple dance studios and successfully coached local dance teams, leading one of them to state competitions. Additionally, Courtney's commitment to dance education extends to teaching dance intensives in Duluth and Minneapolis, Minnesota, providing dancers with valuable opportunities for growth and development.

Courtney's choreography has also garnered recognition, consistently earning high scores, overalls, and Choreography awards at various dance competitions. Her exceptional choreography skills have been acknowledged at Nationals, with several of her pieces making it into the "Showdown."

Beyond her achievements, Courtney is known for her enthusiasm, motivation, and dedication to her students. She takes pride in keeping her dancers conditioned and ready for the stage, and she finds joy in helping them achieve their goals, no matter how big or small. With her extensive experience, knowledge, and passion, Courtney is a valuable asset to any dance program or team.

Her goal is to help students achieve their dance goals and dreams by creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
